MCA Parent/Student Handbook
Education is more than knowing how to make a living; it should stress how to live. We pray that each student will mature and conform to the image of Christ, helped by the education received at Maranatha Christian Academy.
We desire to help every student learn, grow, and achieve but we can only work with students who are willing to obey and with parents who are willing to support the guidelines set forth in our handbook. We do not expect our students to be perfect, but we urge every student to strive for spiritual maturity.
Observance of the school’s regulations is a part of fulfilling one’s responsibilities to God to be obedient and respectful. Willingness to abide by the rules of the school is indicative of spiritual maturity and demonstrates the character of a student committed to serving the Lord.
Our handbook is designed to help students and parents understand their responsibilities, explain expectations for conduct and academic achievement, and as an aid to adjusting to MCA school life more easily. Students and parents should familiarize themselves with the handbook and use it as a reference for questions regarding the school’s overall philosophy as well as specifics for all areas of the school/student relationship.
