Admissions FAQ

What are your hours of operation?

Our school day begins at 8:00am. Students may be dropped off between 7:30am-8:00am, and will assemble in the school cafeteria until dismissed to their homerooms. The school day ends at 3:00pm for K5-5th grades and 3:15pm for 6th-12th grades.

We offer half day and full day programs for our K3/K4 students.

Half day: 8:00am-12:00pm

Full day: 8:00am-3:00pm

Do you offer an early care or after care program?

Yes!  Early care is offered from 7:00am-7:30am for $3 a day. After care begins at 3:30pm with a charge of $5 for the first half hour, and $5 per hour thereafter until 6:00pm.

What are your class sizes?

We limit class sizes to 15, except for certain High School classes that may be limited to 20.

Do you offer a lunch program?

We offer a hot lunch daily from local vendors. Lunch prices are $5 for a regular portion or $6 for an “up-sized” portion.

What curriculum do you use?

Our K3-5th grade classes use A Beka and Positive Action for Christ curriculum. 6th-12th grades use BJU Press, Positive Action for Christ, and Saxon Math.

Do you offer enrichment classes?

We offer a variety of enrichment programs for our students including:

Spanish, art, computer, drama/speech, music, PE, and archery.

What is your enrollment policy for K3-K5?

K3/K4 students may enroll at any time during the school year. Students enrolling in K5 are required to be 5 years of age by August 31 of the current school year.

What about uniforms?

The school’s uniform requirements are described in detail in the Parent/Student Handbook.  Our uniform policy is reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that it appropriately supports MCA’s educational philosophy and Biblical worldview.  Please direct any questions concerning appropriate school attire to school administration.

Can I tour the school?

Yes! We would be happy to have you visit us so you can see what a special place this is. You may call the school office at 770-536-6334 to schedule a time to come by.

What is your admission process?

  1. Submit your application with the $75 application fee
  2. Schedule entrance testing for students in 1st-11th
  3. Schedule an interview with our school principal.
  4. Notification of acceptance/denial sent after all reviews are completed.
  5. If accepted, pay tuition or set up payment plan through the finance office.
